Do you have the same problem we have? You can't throw even the smallest piece of fabric away because you never know what you may one day be able to do with it? To avoid finding ourselves completely inundated with bags full of scraps, we try to design projects that use up the pieces that are left over from other projects. For examples, see for instance this bowl and the quilt "Japanese Parasols". Both use up small triangles of fabric left over from one of our work-in-progress quilts. New scrap-project: from the strips left over from the new quilt I am making (and that includes the selvages), I decided to crochet a bag. As we make more projects, and so produce more scraps, we will keep adding examples to this page. Another scrap, just a tryout for one of our projects but too pretty to throw away:
