This quilt was made as a background for the bronze statue (by artist Felicia Felix).
Hand-dyed fabrics, log cabin blocks, machine piecing, fusing, raw edge applique, machine quilting. 30" x 40" March 2010 This quilt was the winner of the Crafty Quilter Quiltette challenge 2009.
The techniques used are machine piecing, machine quilting, machine embroidery, fusing, and rough edge appliqué. August 2009
This quilt was a joint winner in the Crafty Quilter Quiltette challenge 2008. The text on the quiltette is a Chinese proverb:
"Keep a green tree in your heart and perhaps a singing bird will come".

August 2007 19"x16 1/2", hand-painted fabric, stencilled with Markal paintstiks, machine-pieced, hand-quilted. May 2007 23 3/4"x29", hand-painted fabric, reverse applique, hand-quilted. April 2007 7 1/4"x26 1/2", hand-dyed fabric, Markal paintstik rubbings, machine-pieced, hand-quilted. March 2007 13" square, hand-dyed fabric, machine pieced and quilted. Leaves and daisies stencilled with Markal Paintstiks. Made with hand-dyed fabric, printed, machine pieced, fused, machine and hand quilted. Hand pieced, appliqued and quilted. Hand pieced, hand applique, hand quilted, 41x42", finished 26/02/2006.
