I started my ‘Stitching for Peace’ project in November 2023. Stitching a small square with a dove every day and sending them out into the world through social media. It is frustrating to see so many awful things happening in the world and this is my way of protesting. It helps me to do something at least and from the reactions I get from people who see them, I know that in a small way it helps them too. Later on in the project I started making banners with letters that spell out the word ‘peace’ in different languages. We all have a word for peace, why is it so difficult for us to live in peace with each other?
