2025 10-17 October: Draad van verbinding, Hattem, NL
“Draad van verbinding” is een verbindend kunstproject waarin Hattemers door middel van handwerk en gesprekken samen nadenken over samenleven en wat ons verbindt. Door het maken van kleine textiele kunstwerken met een ‘verbindende draad’, delen deelnemers hun persoonlijke verhalen over wanneer ze zich verbonden voelen met anderen.
Deze kunstwerken worden tijdens de Kleurrijk Jezelf Zijn week (van 10 t/m 17 oktober) in De Marke tentoongesteld met daarbij teksten over wat verbinding voor de deelnemers betekent. Na afloop van de expositie worden de kunstwerkjes samengevoegd tot één verbindend kunstwerk.

I’ll be hanging out with Quilt aan Zee, and you’ll be able to buy my new ‘Going round in circles’ kits there.
I will be teaching a class on Thursday and Saturday called ‘Speelse stiksels en sprankelende garens’ (Fun stitching and fabulous thread). You can book it here. All you need to bring is yourself, everything else is included in the price.

You can find our work in the ‘Sala Cannoniera’ together with the work of artists from Italy, Austria, Germany, Croatia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, USA, Japan, Iran. It’s going to be well worth a visit!
